In this civil appeal, the parties informed the Court that they had settled their dispute out of court and that the disputed property had been transferred to a newly added third party, Maurice Rosario Menezes. An application was filed by the third party for disposal of the appeal. The Supreme Court held that since the settlement between the parties left nothing to be adjudicated in the appeal, the appeal was disposed of with no order as to costs.
