Bench: 2 — Kurian

In Brief

The appellant challenged the denial of his application to transfer a family court case (C.P. No. 106 of 2015) from Sambalpur to Bhubaneswar. The Supreme Court, finding it was in the interest of both parties and noting the respondent's concession, allowed the transfer. The Court directed that the case be transferred to the Family Court at Bhubaneswar, with parties directed to appear on 13 January 2017. The Registry was instructed to communicate the judgment to both courts. No costs were awarded. The appeal was disposed of.
