In Brief
Balkrishna Waman Zambare was appointed as a laboratory attendant in a school and later promoted to junior clerk, both with official approval. After internal management disputes, he was denied work from November 2013 and later formally terminated in December 2016. He filed a delayed appeal before the School Tribunal, which condoned the delay given his continuous written correspondence with authorities. The High Court reversed this, but the Supreme Court held the delay condonation was justified. The Court restored the pending appeals to the School Tribunal for full hearing, emphasizing that approved employees deserve substantive consideration over technical delay objections."
