A public interest petition challenged the mark-awarding process in Delhi Judicial Services examinations 2014. The Court directed a former Supreme Court Judge to revalue answer scripts of unsuccessful candidates using the marks of selected candidates as a benchmark. Following revaluation, the High Court called twelve additional candidates for interview, of whom eleven were selected. The Court disposed of the petitions while approving these outcomes and issuing procedural recommendations for future examinations, including use of pen in OMR sheets, provision of answer scripts under RTI, and adherence to established evaluation procedures.
