Hawa Singh and others filed special leave petitions challenging the fixation of land value determined by the High Court. The Supreme Court granted leave and found that similar connected matters arising from a common judgment had already been remitted to the High Court in Civil Appeal No. 12847 of 2017. The Court set aside the impugned judgment in these appeals and remitted them to the High Court to be consolidated with the previously remitted matters for joint consideration, directing the appellants to serve copies of the judgment on respondent claimants within four weeks.
