Bench: 2 — <UNKNOWN>, <UNKNOWN>

In Brief

In a suo motu writ petition concerning a minor victim of alleged abduction and threatening conduct under Sections 364 and 506 IPC, the Supreme Court retained the petition in limited scope to ensure the victim's education would not be disrupted. The Court directed the High Court to constitute a monitoring bench, and ordered the State Chief Secretary to establish a special investigative team headed by an Inspector General of Police to conduct sensitive inquiries into the victim's grievances and address parental safety concerns.
