N. TAHERA & ANR vs SEEMA BEGUM & ANR

Bench: 3 — Uday Umesh Lalit, Ajay Rastogi, Aniruddha Bose

In Brief

N. Tahera and another sought review of a Special Leave Petition that had been rejected at the admission stage. The Supreme Court condoned the delay in filing the review petition but found no substance in the underlying SLP and no error apparent on the record to justify interference. The Court also rejected the application to list the review petition in open court. Accordingly, the review petition was dismissed, affirming that review petitions require demonstration of a clear error in the original order to succeed.
