Piara Singh and his legal representatives appealed a High Court judgment from 2014 in a property dispute against Kundan Singh's heirs. However, during the Supreme Court proceedings, counsel for both parties informed the Court that the parties had amicably settled all disputes and differences through two Settlement Deeds dated 15 January 2019 and 24 April 2019. The Supreme Court accepted the settlement, disposed of the appeal, and directed the Registry to draft a final decree in accordance with the terms of the Settlement Deeds, thereby concluding the long-standing litigation between the parties.
