Ranjit Singh and others appealed a High Court judgment to the Supreme Court. During the appeal proceedings, all parties—represented by their respective counsel—reached an amicable settlement of their dispute. The parties filed two settlement deeds dated 15 January 2019 and 24 April 2019. The Court disposed of the appeal in terms of these settlement deeds, directing the Registry to draft a decree in accordance with the agreed terms, thereby giving effect to the parties' negotiated resolution.
