This appeal arose from a two-decade property dispute concerning reconveyance of real estate. After years of unsuccessful litigation and settlement attempts, the Court appointed mediators to facilitate resolution. With assistance from Ms. Varuna Bhandari and senior counsel Mr. Subramonium Prasad, the parties successfully negotiated and executed a settlement agreement on 19 April 2018. The Court disposed of the appeal in terms of the settlement, directing both parties to strictly comply with its terms, which became part of the Court's order.
