SEBI sought compliance from Sahara regarding payment obligations under an earlier order. The Supreme Court granted the extension and allowed sale of Grosvenor House Hotel after SEBI consented, but rejected permission to sell other properties below 90% of circle rate—ordering public auction instead. Sahara was required to pay the remaining Rs. 709.82 crores by 4 July 2017, with threat of custody for non-compliance. Requests to lift embargoes and accept property as cash security were rejected."
