Supreme Court of India 2017-04-05 dismissed

State of Karnataka and Etc. Etc vs Selvi J. Jayalalitha (Since Deceased) and Etc. Etc

Bench: 2 — 2

In Brief

The Supreme Court rejected the State of Karnataka's applications for personal hearings and dismissed Review Petitions challenging an earlier order of 14 February 2017. That order had allowed the State's criminal appeals but held them abated insofar as one appellant (A1) was concerned, as she had since died. Finding no grounds for reconsideration, the Court dismissed all review petitions on their merits without requiring oral arguments."
