In Brief
Ultimate Carbon challenged an order of the National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone (Chennai) on the ground that they were not heard before it was passed. The impugned order, however, referred to arguments made by an intervening association of charcoal manufacturers who had been heard. The Supreme Court disposed of the appeal, directing that the appellant could file a review application before the Tribunal raising their objections and, if time-barred, could seek condonation of delay, while preserving their right to subsequently challenge the impugned judgment through appropriate legal remedies."
