Aishwarya Atul Pusalkar sought to enforce her right to reside in her matrimonial home during matrimonial proceedings against her husband. The original premises had been redeveloped into "Om Apartment" after she vacated. The Supreme Court allowed the appeal in part, granting the appellant possession of alternative residential accommodation for eight months, during which the respondent (husband) must pay rent and ensure peaceful possession. The appellant was directed to approach a competent court for further relief after the interim period expires. No costs were awarded.
