In Brief
In this Special Leave Petition, the Supreme Court declined to exercise its jurisdiction to hear the matter on merits and instead directed the High Court of Allahabad to dispose of pending Special Appeals in the underlying case on merits. The Court clarified that it had not examined the substantive questions and that any interim directions issued by the High Court would remain suspended until the appeals were finally decided. The SLPs were disposed of with a request for expeditious consideration by the High Court.
