In Brief
Oriental Bank of Commerce challenged a lower court order directing it to appoint the respondent as a Part Time Sweeper with 50% backwages from 2008. The Supreme Court found that while the lower order was justified, a full-time sweeper position would better serve the respondent's interests and was acceptable to both parties. The Court modified the order, directing the bank to offer a Full Time Sweeper appointment within two weeks.
