In Brief
A man convicted of murder under IPC § 302 with another claimed juvenility decades after his 1982 conviction. A 2020 medical board determined his age at 40-55 years; if true in 1982, he would be under 18. However, the Court rejected this claim, finding contemporary evidence (his own Arms License application stating birth date 30.12.1961) proved he was 21 in 1982. The Court held that ossification tests, while useful, are unreliable for determining past age, especially of adults. On merits, multiple injuries from blunt and sharp weapons, plus eyewitness testimony, proved his guilt. The appeal was dismissed."
