Shanti Devi and others appealed to the Supreme Court seeking enhancement of compensation for their acquired land. The Court found that related matters had already been remitted to the High Court as per an earlier order dated 28.11.2017. Accordingly, the Court disposed of these appeals by remitting them to the High Court to be heard together with Civil Appeal No. 20050/2017 and connected cases. No orders on costs were passed.
