In Brief
Harvinder Singh challenged compensation awarded in a land acquisition case at the High Court (RFA No. 3192/2013). The Supreme Court found that connected land acquisition matters had already been remitted to the Punjab and Haryana High Court by agreement of both parties and were pending consideration. Rather than decide the appeal independently, the Court remitted this appeal to the High Court as well, so all related matters could be considered together for consistency. The appeal was disposed of accordingly.
