Air India Ltd vs Delhi International Airport Pvt. Ltd. and Ors

Bench: 2 — <UNKNOWN>, <UNKNOWN>

In Brief

Air India challenged the High Court's order extending an older airport tariff from 2012 while appeals were pending. The Supreme Court modified the High Court's interim order. Although the old tariff had continued and collections were made, a new tariff order from 2015 had already been implemented. The Court vacated the direction to continue the old tariff and ordered the new tariff to proceed. However, the Airport Economic Regulatory Authority was directed to decide pending appeals within two months, considering the financial implications of the interim period when the old tariff applied.
