In Brief
The Delhi Development Authority challenged court orders relating to land acquisition proceedings initiated under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. If DDA fails to issue a notification under Section 11 of the Act within this period, it must return physical possession of the acquired lands to their original owners.
