In Brief
The appellants sought higher compensation for development charges in a land-related matter. The Supreme Court found that their claim was already covered by a prior judgment (Sachin & Ors. v. State of Haryana, 31 March 2015), which had fixed the reduction in development charges at 30% (down from 40%). As the issue had been settled by that earlier decision, the Court disposed of the appeal in accordance with the prior judgment, without allowing additional statutory benefits for the period of delay in refiling the petition.
