In Brief
The appellants sought enhancement of compensation for their land after a High Court judgment denied it. The Supreme Court found that the appellants were similarly situated to successful appellants in a prior case (Civil Appeal No. 3412/2015, Sachin v. State of Haryana). Accordingly, the Court allowed these appeals following the earlier judgment by parity of reasoning. However, the appellants were denied any statutory benefits for the period of delay in litigation before the High Court or Supreme Court.
